If you can’t tell already, I’m excited about Goodwood Vintage. But more so because of the British Fashion Council’s Future-Vintage show on the Sunday!
Featuring the creations of Holly Fulton, David Koma, Louise Gray, Mary Katrantzou and Michael van der Ham, the designers’ collections were chosen because they were deemed “future vintage” by a panel of fashion editors, chaired by BFC Ambassador for Emerging Talent Sarah Mower.
Great idea I think personally, what with the theme of the festival being celebrating 50 years of British cool – and actually pointing out what’s current, but sure to go down as something we’ll remember in 20-30 years time.
Plus, Oxfam are doing a ‘mannequins on parade’ exhibition which should be quite interesting… Apparently Vic Reeves and Stella Vine have designed some for that.
