Salvatore Ferragamo is launching the Red Carpet Project where it lets the customer become the designer!
It’s being launched alongside the film The Tourist, which is already notorious for Johnny Depps other half Miss Paradis banning him from doing a sex scene with world renowned temptress Angelina Jolie.
Six models, from sandals to courts, are available along with 23 different coloured satins. The option to monogram the shoe is also available and the process takes about six weeks. The Red Carpet Project will debut soon in selected boutiques worldwide, and the company plans to change the customisable options with each season.
Jolie had a collection of shoes designed for her character in the film. Based around Ferragamo’s classic stiletto court, they are being dubbed the “Elise”. Salvatore Ferragamo began his career in Hollywood during the Twenties, where he custom-made shoes for Hollywood starlets, before returning to Italy to found the company we know today.
