Gerard Butler is in the running for a top fashion award – despite his self-confessed “lack of fashion sense”.
The Law Abiding Citizen actor, who hails from Paisley, Renfrewshire, featured high in a recent poll and has made it on to the Scottish Fashion Icon shortlist, voted for by the public.
Other famous faces in the top 10 are actresses Tilda Swinton, Freya Mavor, Karen Gillan, Kelly MacDonald and Laura McGonigle; singers Amy MacDonald and Sharleen Spiteri; presenter George Lamb and River City actor Sam Robertson.
Awards founder Tessa Hartmann said: “There’s a new generation of ‘Cool Scots’ out there and it’s great to see.”
More than 500 Scots aged 15 to 35 were asked to select their top three from a list of 20 fashionable Scots in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dundee ahead of the sixth Scottish Fashion Awards this summer.
