Just in Time for London Fashion Week, the best thing to come out England since America… Downton Abbey is back!!! The period drama set in the reign of King George V, started last night and with all of its vintage splendor did not disappoint. The series follows the lives of the Crawley family and their servants living in the stately home named Downton Abbey. Dramatics aside, anyone with an affinity for period fashion will be madly in love with the consumes beautifully framed in each shot. It’s real fashion craftsmanship at it’s best!!!
The GENIUS team behind the stunning fashion are Dulcie Scott (costume supervisor), Caroline McCall (assistant costume designer), and Jason Gill (costume assistant). I fell in love with the intricate design set in what can only be described as the height of feminine attire!
Two of the three ladies of the manor, recently underwent makeovers!!!
One of the Downton Abbey sisters Jessica Brown-Findlay, 22, who plays feisty, feminist youngest sister Sybil, wears a spotted Stella McCartney dress with transparent side panels!!! And looks absolutely on fire!
Michelle Dockery wears a flowing Marchesa dress… stunning! You can catch Downton Abbey and snoop the amazing wardrobe every Sunday at 9:00pm, on ITV1!!!
