Earlier this week marked the launch of the first collection from the sister brand: Victoria, Victoria Beckham, exclusively at Harvey Nichols in London and Birmingham.
Prices start at £395 for a panelled panel day dress in crêpe de chine to £800 for a cloud-print style in silk, and the line is promoted as a “more affordable” alternative to her mainline collection.
Victoria Beckham has reportedly taken inspiration for the collection from comic book character Emily Strange, and has created light and bright pieces with quirky prints and pretty colours
A spokesperson for Harvey Nichols says: “The first day sales have been phenomenal and the shop floor are inundated with calls, there are waiting lists for all of the dresses. More stock is due to drop over the next few weeks.”
Victoria has said of the collection: “This new line serves to channel my inner girl – it is fun and young with a distinct sense of humour. The Victoria range can’t help but make you smile with its energy and personality”
