Karl Lagerfeld, a confirmed royalist who admitted asking his parents to buy him his first television to watch Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation, produced a sketch of what he would dress Her Majesty for the Jubilee, then proudly posted the result, complete with Union Flag background on Twitter.
The result is a lovely pastel sketch in Lagerfeld’s distinctive style. Karl Lagerfeld took to Twitter to give his opinions on that The Queen was dressed in: “I would have dressed the Queen in a cape, it would have been prettier than her shawl”
Unfortunately for Lagerfeld the position of royal designer has already been filled by designer Angela Kelly, so he will just have to make do with dressing the world’s other iconic figures.
