Whistles, the high street favorite will launch Limited Edition by Whistles in early September. Formed of 70 pieces, with each item being produced in editions of between 20 and 50, the new range aims to be contemporary in style whilst retaining the effortless luxury that is the DNA of the Whistles brand.
The collection covers both day, evening and outerwear, with key fabrics including leather, cashmere, silk crepe and elaborate jacquards.
“We decided to stretch our creative wings this year and allow ourselves the luxury of designing a small tightly edited collection of what we consider to be the most covetable pieces of the season, in the most luxurious and desirable fabrics, including butter soft leather, the softest cashmere, and silk crepe,” said Jane Shepherdson, Whistles chief executive. “When we had created it, we realised that we couldn’t do without it, and it became our Limited Edition. It will only be available in a few places, and only a small number of each piece will be made, but it is the epitome of what Whistles is all about – effortless luxury.”
The collection will be available in selected premium Whistles stores, online and in the brand’s concessions in Harvey Nichols and Harrods.
