H&M are joining the growing number of high street brands attempting to break into high-fashion by hosting a catwalk show during an international Fashion Week.
The brand is no stranger to catwalk fashion brands after having many sought after collaborations with brands such as Maison Martin Margiela, Stella McCartney, Marni and Versace.
While our British high street staples; Topshop, River Island and Whistles continue to show at London Fashion week, the Swedish high-street giant H&M is set to take on Paris Fashion Week and are said to be showing 25 looks from their autumn/winter 2013 collection.
The show will be staged at the Musée Rodin, which has previously hosted catwalk shows for Yves Saint Laurent and Dior, on February 27, reports WWD .
“We felt excited about the collection and we really wanted to show it,” spokesman Håcan Andersson said.
What do you think? Do you think the H&M brand will translate to catwalk?
