Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony

Autumn winter 2013 marks the fifth collection between Chloë Sevigny and Opening Ceremony.

Inspired by the restlessness of youth and free thinking, she adopted classic 1960′s silhouettes – A-line coats, babydoll dresses, mock necks and lots of pockets for the women with pastel hues.

The catwalk show was held at St. Mark’s Church on The Bowery, the 38-year-old actress and fashion designer stood amongst her mod-themed models with blank stares, who, like the protests staged by youthquakers in the Sixties, held signs that said things like: ‘The agony of power.’

MS Sevigny explained: ‘I feel like every teenager that’s somewhat alternative goes through a sixties obsession and a mod obsession’ continuing ‘Every collection is a nod back to my teen years. It’s very narcissistic.’
