Banana Republic takes inspriation from Mad Men

Banana Republic’s Mad Men capsule collection hit the UK this week, and they have enlisted Coco Rocha as the face of the line.

Banana Republic has now worked with Mad Men’s costume designer Janie Bryant three times, but they have looked to the 60’s for the latest collection.

Bryant says, the collection is all about ‘new silhouettes, hemlines being shorter, the shift dress… the bold colours, the geometric shapes.’

‘The inspiration was taken by Megan Draper because we wanted to do a collection that we could see the change in fashion and she was the character that had inspired us to do that.’ she continued.

What do you think of the mod inspired collection?
