Last year’s festival was a huge success with some of fashion’s biggest names in attendance for a weekend of interviews and discussions, including Victoria Beckham, Donatella Versace, Michael Kors, Paul Smith, Mario Testino, Vivienne Westwood, Alber Elbaz, Alexa Chung and Cara Delevingne.

This year promises to be even better with guest appearances from some of the most influential fashion icons today, with discussions to include the following:

Spring Trends in the Spotlight

The sun is here! The weather is warmer and the rain, for now, has gone. This means one thing – a new bright sparkly Spring wardrobe.  Here we take a look at one of the big trends for Spring.

Pastels
Predicted to be the trend with the most impact this season, pastels are back and we are so pleased. Everyone will have a pastel hue to suit, and with so many garments readily available in this color spectrum, we can all rock this ice cream tinged dream.

Here is my top choice of pastel pieces…….

Designer Dolls

Whether it is funky teddy bears, painted elephants or decorated plates, I simply love a quirky campaign that requires a designer/artist to put their stamp on an alternative product – and even more so when it is in the name of charity.

The latest fundraiser is for UNICEF, and involves a number of design houses creating a one-off doll with the theme ‘Wonderful Paris’ in mind, to be sold at a UNICEF auction on December 2. The full collection will be on display at the Paris’s Petit Palais until December 1.

All proceeds will go towards providing vaccinations for children in the Darfur region of Sudan.
Here is some of the designs from the world’s most elite designers.

Embellished

With but a week or so to go until the final month of the year, we are swiftly moving into the ‘party season’.

Whilst I will be looking at a number of festive party styles in the next couple of weeks, I thought I would get us started with a bit of embellishment. If there is one season that requires heaps of sparkly embellishment, be it for brunch, dinner or office party, it is the ‘party season’.

CB loves…….

VICTORIA BECKHAM

What you ask – her shoes, sunglasses, jetset life, husband….?

Well I say, all of the above, but what I am totally obsessed with is her fashion label. A design house that has stunned the fashion pack in the past few years, and has given many of the world’s most elite fashion designers a run for their money. Victoria Beckham has become one of the world’s most influential style guru’s both on and off of the catwalk.

Here is some of the Victoria Beckham collection featuring clean, minimalist and classic pieces that will last for seasons.
