Alexa Chung launches MyTheresa.com’s portrait series

Luxury online retailer MyTheresa.com has launched a portrait and film series, profiling a woman of sartorial note each month. Amongst the virtual rail browsing shoppers can seek style inspiration from women hand picked from the worlds of culture, music, art and fashion.

Alexa Chung kicks off the portrait series in Valentino, Saint Laurent and Acne.

“I had the pleasure of meeting Alexa in New York earlier this year at the Mytheresa.com dinner to celebrate Great British Design,” explains MyTheresa.com founder Susanne Botschen of picking Chung. “I was instantly impressed by her grace, intelligence, humour and wit, that and the fact that she wore the perfect shoe with her Christopher Kane dress.”

Mila Kunis for Dior

Mila Kunis, star of the Oscar winning film “Black Swan” has been named as the new face of French house Dior.

She will appear in its spring fashion campaign shot by Mickael Jansson, showcasing the latest versions of the Miss Dior handbag.

Mila Kunis won acclaim for her role in “Black Swan”, and has recently appeared with Justin Timberlake in “Friends With Benefits” and has just finished filming the Disney film “Oz: The Great and Powerful” opposite James Franco. She is also well know for her roles as Meg on “Family Guy” and for her role on “That 70’s Show”.

Dior have said that they are looking forward to a long relationship with her and Mila has said she’s more of a jeans and t-shirt girl and is just starting to learn about fashion in an interview with WWD, adding, “I find that Dior is an incredibly grounded house. I always thought what Dior does is so sophisticated, feminine and beautiful.”
