The model, who has appeared on 33 British Vogue covers, will be a hands-on editor working with the magazine’s fashion team to produce fashion shoots, where she will have complete autonomy over the choice of photographers and models.

This will not be the first time that Kate will be involved with the production of the international fashion bible, as in 2005 she guest-edited an issue of Vogue Paris.

Editor Alexandra Shulman says of the new team member – ‘I am absolutely delighted that Kate is going to work with us in this new role. Her undoubtedly brilliant sense of style, depth of fashion knowledge and understanding of what makes a wonderful image will be exciting to see on the pages of British Vogue.’

This announcement follows the recent news that Kate Moss will continue her design collaboration with Topshop, with a new collection to be released in April 2014.

“We’re so excited to announce the launch of Kardashian Kollection for Lipsy in the UK, Ireland, Russia and the Middle East this October,” said Khloe. “We’re collaborating with Lipsy to bring a fresh new range of pieces and I can’t wait for the new line to hit stores,” she continued.

The sisters last year partnered with UK high street store Dorothy Perkins last year. But the Kardashian Kollection for Lipsy range is said to have a more luxury feel to it, as well as a higher price point.

The sisters, who are all known for their distinctive styles, are said to be incorporating their personal tastes in the collection – embracing Kim’s glamorous vibe, Kourtney’s eclectic prints and Khloe’s laid back, edgy chic, complete with sequined biker jackets, embellished crop tops and lace jumpsuits.

Kim, Kourtney and Khloe recently launched Kardashian Sun Kissed, a range made up of five tanning products designed to give a healthy glow.

The Kardashian Kollection for Lipsy will be available from October.

Malaika Firth lands Prada campaign

Malaika Firth’s first ever campaign is the starring role in Prada’s autumn/winter 2013 advertising campaign which makes her the first black model to star in a Prada advert since Naomi Campbell in 1994.

Firth said she was “completely ecstatic” when she found out she had secured the campaign, which also stars Christy Turlington.

“The shoot was great,” she told The Telegraph. “Unfortunately I didn’t get to speak to Christy as she was busy with hair and makeup but she looked beautiful and also looks like a really lovely person.”

Firth’s potential was first spotted by her very own mother, who took it upon herself to call Premier Models and tell the agency of her daughter’s model credentials after watching Channel 4 documentary The Model Agency in 2011.

Isabel Marant for H&M

H&M have just announced another stellar designer collaboration. This time it’s French designer Isabel Marant, the designer who propelled the wedge trainer into a must have trend.

Isabel Marant

“I am flattered by this collaboration: H&M works with the best designers and this invitation is an exciting honour,” said Marant. “I am creating something real, that women want to wear in their everyday lives, with a certain carelessness, which I think is very Parisian: you dress up, but do not pay too much attention and still look sexy. The collection is infused with this kind of easiness and attitude. Everything can be mixed following one’s own instincts: my take on fashion is all about personality.”

The collection will be clothing and accessories inspired by Marant’s signature Parisian style will be available in 250 stores worldwide as well as online from November 14th 2013

“We are excited to have Isabel Marant as a guest designer at H&M. The way she mixes different elements in her collections, creating a style that is effortless and urban, makes her very contemporary,” said Margareta van den Bosch, creative advisor at H&M. “She has a fantastic eye for ethnic detail and the rare ability to create something that people really want to wear. We are sure the H&M customers will be enthusiastic about this collection.”
