Kate Moss has joined the British Vogue editorial team as contributing fashion editor.
The model, who has appeared on 33 British Vogue covers, will be a hands-on editor working with the magazine’s fashion team to produce fashion shoots, where she will have complete autonomy over the choice of photographers and models.
This will not be the first time that Kate will be involved with the production of the international fashion bible, as in 2005 she guest-edited an issue of Vogue Paris.
Editor Alexandra Shulman says of the new team member – ‘I am absolutely delighted that Kate is going to work with us in this new role. Her undoubtedly brilliant sense of style, depth of fashion knowledge and understanding of what makes a wonderful image will be exciting to see on the pages of British Vogue.’
This announcement follows the recent news that Kate Moss will continue her design collaboration with Topshop, with a new collection to be released in April 2014.
