Rihanna’s second collection for River Island is about to drop into stores on May 25th.
In a behind-the-scenes video released earlier this week, Rihanna can be seen viewing the collection, which has been designed by Adam Selman under her supervision.
“I made a piece for everybody in my crew, we all have different body types and different tastes,” she says. “Some are braver than others, but, you know, I think like that because that’s how all the women in the world are. We’re all different, we all like different things, we all have different occasions, different moods, different body types.” The collection has been created with her ‘crew’ in mind.
There are jumpers and T-shirts emblazoned with her portrait, tie-dyeand floral prints, and some “sexy” cotton pieces that singer says she’ll “live in”.

The fashionista first faced the brands autumn/winter 2012 campaign , in which she perfected the 60’s smoldering smoky-eyed, tousled hair look in a series of black-and-white shots by Glen Luchford.
The new spring/summer 2013 campaign sees Chung channel Factory Girl lounging on giant cushions representing Parisian road signs.
The shoot was shot by Craig McDean, and the campaign was inspired by Chung’s own laid-back style.
Alexa Chung will also be releasing her debut book which is set for release in September, and a rumoured clothing line could also be on the way
To celebrate the launch of Agyness Deyn’s collection for Dr Martens, Deyn and Dr. Martens have made an arty film in which she dons her new designs. Deyn cruises around California with a friend dyeing each others hair, perusing strange stores and graffitis walls then steps fully clothed into swimming pool whilst narrating “I’m very hard to pin down, I’m not a bird that would adapt well to having their wings clipped”.
Deyn will be launching an entire fashion collection with Dr Martens this September which will include clothes and accessories as well as footwear. She says she’s taken inspiration from the grungey look of the Nineties’ coolest couples — Brad Pitt and Juliette Lewis, and Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder.
Agyness Deyn has been credited for helping Dr Martins achieve record sales over the last year. The label is currently for sale for a reported £200 million and the number of Dr Martens sold on the fashion website ASOS has risen 230 per cent in the past year.
